COVID-19

“But thanks be to God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. ”
COVID-19: While our disciple makers were distributing masks to combat COVID-19 transmission, they met a man who has had sinus issues for about three years. They asked if they could pray for him, to which he agreed. After praying, the disciple makers left their phone number with him.
And two weeks later they received a call from the man. He asked if the disciple makers would visit again because his health had dramatically improved since they prayed for him. He told them that doctors had given him medicine, which did not help. Neither did the Mullah’s prayers. The man said the disciple makers’ prayer was the first thing that has ever helped him.

“By stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus. ”

COVID-19: The man inquired what it was that they prayed since during the prayer, he felt his body get hot and saw a bright light in the room. The man said it was a miracle.
COVID-19: The disciple makers replied that they had prayed in the name of Jesus and that Jesus is more than a prophet—He is the Son of God. As the man inquired about Jesus, the disciple makers began sharing scriptures about healing and the prodigal son with the man, his family and extended family, including the grandfather.
After reading the Bible stories, they all wanted to receive Jesus. To God alone be the glory. Currently, the disciple makers are sharing more God stories with this man and his family, discipling them on their God journey.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. ”

HOW YOU CAN PRAY
-
For this man and his family, and others we have encountered like this, to be discipled well so they will be disciples who make disciples who make disciples.
-
For this man and his family to obey the Living God and share the stories with others.
-
For more opportunities for our disciple makers to share the truth and power of God—the One who heals and saves.
-
For our disciple makers to be bold and courageous for Christ and obey Him.
