“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ”
Many Muslims across the world will recognize the start of the Islamic New Year at sunset this Friday, 30 August, marking the first day of the year 1441 of the Hijri calendar. Even though Hijri New Year is not as well known or as widely celebrated, many Muslims will make resolutions and spend time with family.
Just as others do on January 1, many Muslims see the start of the new year as a time of looking forward, reflecting on the past year, and thanking and praising God for the ability to see another day. Others may celebrate simply by renewing their commitment to God.
Please join us in praying for God to reveal Himself during this time of reflection, thanksgiving and praise. Pray with us that many Muslims have dreams and visions of Jesus during this time of seeking divine blessings.
PRAYER STARTER
Dear Lord, we ask that You open the hearts of Muslims all over the world to Your goodness, mercy and grace during this time of renewing their commitment to God. May they encounter You in a way that is meaningful to them that starts them on a new path in this new year toward You, the Living God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
