Daily Prayer Points
Thank you, Father, for blessing the ministry of GCM with abundant fruit, and that your perfect will is being realized in the lives of each new Believer you draw to yourself.
“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”—2 Peter 1:3
Lord Jesus, please fill every GCM disciple maker and Discovery Bible Study group leader with passion for bringing other Muslims to you. Safely lead each one to those whose hearts you have already prepared.
“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.” —Matthew 9:36
Let your Holy Spirit richly dwell within each disciple maker and house-church leader, that they may teach and disciple one another in wisdom, love, and humility. Fill them with perseverance, courage, and joy.
“Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.’” -John 14:23-24
Wed Church Planting
Lord, may the faith of disciple makers from a Muslim background grow through intimacy with you. Multiply a hundredfold the spiritual fruit of every house-church planted by GCM.
“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.” Psalm 40:3
Thu Leadership Training
I ask your guiding hand, oh Lord, over each GCM leader and disciple maker. Purify every heart and motive. Sanctify each life to your purpose and glory.
“If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.” – Exodus 33:13
Fri Redemptive Compassion Ministries
Lord Jesus, you are the hope of the world. Please demonstrate your love and mercy through each disciple maker who ministers to those who despair without the hope they can found in you alone.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” -Isaiah 61:1
Sat Persecuted Body of Christ
Heavenly Father, remember your children in their afflictions. Remove all fear when they face persecution. Fill their hearts with your love for their persecutors, that they too may find hope and eternal life in Jesus.
“He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:8-9
The Hope of Nations
“In his name the nations will put their hope.” Matthew 12:21
The horrors of the ever-escalating war throughout the Middle East confronts us daily. Its gruesomeness fills us with an ever-deepening compassion for those who suffer and live without hope. We ask ourselves, how can mankind inflict such cruelty upon others?
In his acclaimed book, Mere Christianity, C. S. Lewis wrote, “God designed the human machine to run on Himself. God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there.” Mankind’s only hope for peace and abundant life, is Jesus Christ.
That conviction, arising from their own personal transformation in Christ, fuels the compassion of GCM disciple makers towards their “enemies.” Their own hearts are filled with God’s love toward those who are lost and sinking deeper into hopelessness. Bringing the Gospel message of hope, peace, and restoration into Christ-likeness empowers these Believers of Muslim background to risk their own lives so others may live as God intended.
God created us to enjoy complete intimacy with Him, as Jesus himself did. There is no other purpose for our lives. It was mankind’s original sin of self-realization¾pride¾that broke that intimacy, starting with Lucifer/Satan, then Adam and each of us. Unless we surrender ourselves to Jesus, we cannot enjoy the life God intends for us. “That everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”¾ John 3:15. There is no plan B!
When we choose Christ, we choose life. All other choices, made in self-interest, lead to destruction and death. To experience a life filled with hope and peace, we must surrender every bit of ourselves to Him. When we hold anything back, we are trying to hold on to death.
Just as spring brings new life to the natural world, faith in Christ brings us into new life¾His life. As we pray for the Middle East, let Jesus fill our hearts with compassion towards Muslims who, for centuries, have battled one another over power and false teachings. Ask the Lord of the harvest that millions of Muslims will turn to Christ with the help of GCM.
Bringing Jesus’ light into the darkness
This spring, pray for this key GCM initiative: Evangelism, Discipleship, and Church Planting
All former Muslims, GCM disciple makers have experienced Jesus’ transformational love. They bring God’s Word to other Muslim nations and start Discovery Bible Study groups that form self-replicating churches.
Nearly all volunteers, they cannot minister without your prayer and financial support. As you pray, please consider giving monthly. GCM’s “frontline” disciple makers risk their life every day to advance and sustain today’s unprecedented movement of God among Muslims.
Worldwide, Muslim hearts cry out for hope, looking for someone who cares, someone who loves them. Your prayers and gifts go a long way and accomplish much. God calls you to carry out the Great Commission, and GCM needs you!

Profile in Faith
Meet Dokhtar, sister in the Lord and volunteer GCM disciple maker.
This testimony illustrates the results of your prayers and financial support. May you be encouraged as you read about the abundant fruit God is producing through the unique and courageous ministry of GCM. Like thousands of persecuted former Muslims who have turned to Christ, Dokhtar lives in a country closed to the Gospel.
“God corrected much of my wrong thinking and showed me His ways.”
Independence for Muslim women is rare, so when Dokhtar left her home town to find employment in a large city, she had no guidance in navigating her new environment. Everything was strange and she was afraid. She no longer had her family to turn to for support.
After making some new acquaintances, Dokhtar fell in love with a young man who was ten years her junior. The age difference quickly ended the relationship. Depressed, Dokhtar turned to food for consolation. The more weight she gained, the lonelier and more isolated she felt.
One day as she was taking a walk, two ladies approached her to ask for her help on a research project. Glad for the opportunity to interact with other women, Dokhtar agreed. During the course of conversation, the two ladies who were GCM volunteer disciple makers, brought up the topic of God.
They shared with Dokhtar that God is alive, sees her emotional hurts, and wants to heal her. They told personal stories about how God transformed their own lives. Then they presented a biblical story about God, the first in a series of seven that GCM uses to introduce Jesus to Muslims.
After the first story, she was eager to meet with her new friends every week. Dokhtar wanted to learn the next story about God, as well as discuss with the disciple makers how she had obeyed what God’s Word had revealed to her in the previous week’s verse.
Discipleship through obedience to God begins with the very first Biblical story, and GCM disciple makers do not proceed to the next story and verse without obedience to the previous one.
As Dokhtar learned more about God and obeyed Him, her transformation began. She shared how “God corrected much of my wrong thinking and showed me His ways. When I read the fifth story about Jesus Christ, I found out this Jesus is the one whom a friend of mine had talked about five years ago. I had heard about Jesus and his gospel, but I had rejected it then. This time around, I was ‘living with Him,’ and have become His disciple.”
Today, Dokhtar is a volunteer disciple maker who introduces other Muslims to Christ as the leader of a GCM Discovery Bible Study group.
You can help change one more life … today! With your monthly gift, you accelerate the growth of the Church in the Middle East. Your impact is now, and it’s eternal.
More than 95% of GCM’s evangelists/disciple makers are volunteers. Its leaders live below the poverty line. There are no buildings or organizational structures to support. It’s all frontline ministry, and your dollar goes a long way.
This winter alone, GCM evangelists and leaders will risk their life every day to share God’s Word with some 5,000 Muslims.
